Okay, so yeah this blog was going to be a prototype.  But I changed themes to this recently released one, and was able to tweak it, more or less, to my fancy.

So maybe I’ll just stay here awhile.

If you’re new here, make sure to check out the older posts.  There is a link at the bottom of the home page.

I guess I’m the sort of guy that really needs to know how things work, and what makes people tick.  I spent a long time working in technology.  Now, I seem to be led to apply this curiosity toward the Bible and the ways of the LORD.

Accordingly, my posts try to cross a number of disciplines.  Writing in this way is kind of new to me, so please bear with me as I adapt to this writing environment.

I just realized the title of this blog kinda has a weird symbolism.  Didn’t think about it when I named it.  But the style is that of describing the course of a boundary in land titles.  The land itself refers to the church.  And the River might represent the Euphrates, the traditional boundary between Israel and Babylon. Wonder if that places me in a precarious position? I dunno, just thought that was cool. Too late to change the title now, besides, I like it.  Of course I live along a river, and I thought that was the inspiration, but the title to my land does not contain these words. So, well, hmm.

If anyone cares, I set up a Yahoo! Group.  Just click the Forum link on the main page.  We got like three members so any company would be welcome.
