Descent from Snowbird

Descent from Snowbird

The trail down from Snowbird Mountain is quite precipitous. The road is maybe ten feet wide, loose gravel, a 40% grade in some places, with a sheer drop of two thousand feet on one side. Stopping to take a picture, leaving room to get out of the truck, was, shall we say, invigorating.

Did I mention there are bears in them deep dark woods?

  1. Ah my beautiful mountain. One more week and I’ll be moving south. I thought you were quiet brave to ride to the top of that mountain with an old gal like me at the wheel. There are also some two legged varmints in them woods! Thanks for the beautiful picture, Jan
